Mr. Barber recently won favorable decisions in two very high profile cases: one an employment discrimination suit versus Fortune 500 staffing firm Kelly Services, and one involving the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA) against the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Barber leads the highly successful Niedweske Barber, LLC litigation team, which has had numerous major trial and arbitration victories. He has extensive experience in both State and Federal litigation matters, as well as alternative dispute resolution cases. He also handles cases involving:
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Barber graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and was also a member of the football team. Upon graduation, Mr. Barber served in the United States Army and was deployed in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his honorable discharge, he graduated from Seton Hall Law School and practiced employment defense and complex commercial litigation for a large New Jersey law firm. After several years as an associate, Mr. Barber accepted a partnership in a heavy civil construction company specializing in superstructure foundations and complex soil retention systems. During his tenure as CEO, the company won numerous awards, achieved industry recognition and performed many large public transportation projects, including the foundation work on the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s single largest project ever. Mr. Barber’s experiences as a business owner provide him with an invaluable perspective on the complexities and demands of business, that to this day enhances his trial strategy during employment and labor disputes. Mr. Barber is a tenacious and diligent trial attorney who protects and safeguards clients’ interests as if they were his own.
